Empowerment is the process of enhancing the capacity of individuals or groups to make choices and to transform those choices into desired actions and outcomes.

We tackle empowerment into a social and economic context.
Orphans, Vulnerable, and Disabled People are more likely to face many obstacles including stigma, invisibility and abuse.
Worse than that Disabled People face harder time in schools and tough for them finding jobs.

In an attempt to empower them we are bridging the gap where our staff is working closely to provide services to individuals with the most significant disabilities and vulnerability so they can remain in their homes and live as independently as possible.

We are equipping these groups through targeted employment services that are based on local market demand, complemented by building life skills and employ ability skill development namely;

-Farming, where we equip adults and high functioning children with farming skills which diversifies into animal husbandry since Uganda’s economy majorly is based on agriculture.

-Craft making, we teach skills to make mats, beads, weave baskets and many more from locally available resources to meet the market demand in the communities accessible.

-Other skills we want to foster in our future plans are tailoring, hairdressing, carpentry, beekeeping, and brick laying in accordance to the ability and community feasibility there by improving on household income.
