OUR STORY

2015 Saw Mr. Ekiwa Ronald and Kiwanuka Kenneth’s concern of the increasing number of school age going children in the different trading centers of the sub counties constituting Bugweri county at time of studying doing pet work for example extracting fuel from heavy vehicles like trailers along the main high way at stopping points endangering their lives at risks of accidents.

 And girls eyeing prostitution leading to a no control of HIV spread among youth since they have no protection and yet not mature engaging into such sexual intercourse while many of these children majorly boys engaged in sports betting.

To our research these children left homes for reasons like lack of school fees, scholastic materials,  food ,poor medical care and poor shelter in all the six sub counties namely  Buyanga, Ibulanku, Makuutu, Igombe, Namalemba and Busembatia that make up Bugweri county.

This was evident that the largest number of these children were orphaned and disabled who had little care as others were even heading their homes so had to look for means of surviving and feeding their fellow children yet those that had guardians, the guardians themselves looked vulnerable and instead needed to be helped too, this ignited the formation of our darling organization.
